Scott grew up spin fishing and building forts in the forest on a ranch in Wilson during the summer; and attending schools in California during the winter. He eventually helped with haying and building buck and rail fence. He also graduated from UC Berkeley and Loyola Law School. He moved here full time in 1989 to pursue a career in real estate. He has become an avid fly fisherman, a wildlife photographer, and conservationist. As the valley population has grown, he has become a staunch advocate for wildlife and open spaces. He is a founding member of the Wyoming Nature Conservancy, and is currently involved in reclaiming wildlife habitat along Flat Creek. He remains dedicated to his clients even after the deal is done; whether it is to help them find a contractor, or special waters to fish.
