Real Estate Agent
Rob DesLauriers embodies the Jackson Hole lifestyle. He is an extreme skiing pioneer turned professional ski mountaineer and Jackson Hole real estate entrepreneur. He has skied from the summit of Mount Everest, brokered hundreds of millions in real estate transactions as a Sotheby’s top producer, and developed Teton Mountain Lodge and Hotel Terra at the base of Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Mountain Resort; with a new ultra-luxury slopeside residential club project, The Hoback Club, currently in construction with delivery in the Spring of 2024.

Rob’s life-long love affair with skiing began at the age of two on the slopes of Bolton Valley Ski Resort in Vermont. His parents own and still operate the resort, that provided Rob the opportunity to ski almost every day while learning the development and hospitality business. Rob went on to earn a degree from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration in 1987.

As a member of The North Face Global Athlete Team for over a decade, Powder Magazine designated DesLauriers a “Top 50 Skier in North America” in 1998. Rob skied in over 20 films including 10 with Warren Miller. An avid cinematographer, Rob founded Straight Up Films and produced five adventure ski films following in Warren’s footsteps including documenting the first snowboard descent of Artesonraju in Peru and the first American ski descent of Everest. He served as the founder and director of the worldwide Extreme Skiing Advanced Ski Clinics from 1990-2000. Rob also co-authored “Ski the Whole Mountain” in 2002, with his brother Eric, a book on how to ski any terrain.

In 2000, Rob shifted his focus to real estate and the development of the Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, a AAA Four Diamond award-winning condominium hotel resort located at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. He completed his second Jackson Hole hotel project in 2008 with the opening of Hotel Terra. Terra is a sustainably designed and operated, Silver-LEED certified condominium hotel with modern mountain sophistication. Rob also founded Teton Village Realty in 2003, which he sold to Sotheby's International Realty in 2010. In 2015, Rob sold his Jackson based hotel management company to Noble House Hotels & Resorts. He continues his focus as a broker with Sotheby's specializing in high-end homes and resort properties as well as speculative home projects and boutique hospitality developments.

Rob and his family live, ski, and play in Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
