Tony Scaffide has lived and sold real estate in Star Valley, Wyoming since 2005, but he came to know and love the Mountain West as a child. Born and raised in Southern California, Tony vacationed with his family on their 1,500-acre ranch in Wayan, Idaho, about 30 minutes away from Alpine, Wyoming. Days of hunting, fishing and riding snowmobiles and ATVs gave Tony a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and small-town feel of Star Valley and Jackson Hole, and he knew someday he'd return for good. He proposed to his wife, Shay, on the Snake River during a trip to Jackson Hole. Several years ago, the couple left their government and corporate jobs in California and relocated to Star Valley, where they are raising two young daughters and enjoying the area's recreational opportunities and family-oriented atmosphere. Tony has become active in the community by supporting many of the local organizations and is an active member of the volunteer Alpine Fire Department. Tony is licensed in Wyoming and Idaho and works in all segments of the real estate market. His listings include residential and commercial properties, including farms and ranches, as well as building sites, and he has managed several construction projects.
