Ian headed west in the fall of 1995 in search of great skiing, great fly fishing and the western lifestyle. The bigger mountains, bigger rivers and wide open spaces were a natural draw for him. His love of skiing, fly-fishing, golf and mountain biking brought him to Jackson Hole 14 years ago, but the beauty of this amazing area is what has kept him here.

Growing up in Southern Vermont, where his father owned a real estate brokerage in a resort town, Ian developed a love of the outdoors and a respect for the environment. After a couple of post-college years in Jackson, he felt that it was time to make a serious career decision, and the real estate business was the most natural choice for him. Ian became a sales associate in 2002 and received his associate broker's license in 2008. Beginning January 2010 Ian will serve as Director of the Teton County Board of Realtors through 2013. He's a member of the Jackson Hole Historical Society, and a dedicated volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Jackson Hole.

With all of that, he tries to spend as much time as he can with his lovely wife, Anne, and his son Emmett.
